The book focuses on the series of oil paintings that Carl-Henning Pedersen painted in the period from when he and Sidsel Ramson moved to Molesmes in the late 1970s until the book's publication in 1999.
The artworks are accompanied by several texts, selected by Herbert Pundik from Carl-Henning Pedersen's biography: It is Written in the Stars, written by Anne Wolden-Ræthinge.
